Layouts are to modules what templates are to web pages

Understanding the concept of various functionalities and the coding of this system can only be done if I spend more time and effort reading about them, but more importantly, understanding what I have just read!

Layouts are to modules what templates are to webpages

I am repeating to myself: 'Layouts are to modules what templates are to webpages'. 'Layouts are to modules what templates are to webpages'. Ok, got that one!

You can customize the functionality and appearance of modules by editing their corresponding layouts. OK Got it!

Each individual module is rendered using one or in some cases more layouts. Why don't they write...... each module is 'made' instead of 'rendered'. Ok, got that one too!

Tags

Tags are not transferrable, and cannot be shared across all modules. OK Got it!

Module

Each module has its own layouts which can contain only their own tags. OK Got it!

Just read about 'categories' online for 'Blogs' which is one of the modules I am using for the first time on Cape Verde Tips. I've made some changes to those and deleted some I didn't need. I really should have looked at these before. So it's back to Blogs and the other tips and advice they give online to see what else I need to do or should have done!

Just another 70 articles to read and understand more about 'tags' and 'layouts', may leave that till another time!
